TRANSOCEAN SUPPORT SERVICE NIGERIA LTD.

1. ASSISTANT DRILLER – Transocean Support Services Nig. Ltd.

Basic Function:

Assist the Driller in operating drilling and mud circulating equipment as instructed in the well program and in accordance to Transocean policies and procedures.

Prerequisites / Qualifications:

- Minimum of OND or its equivalent. Work experience, and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications will be given strong consideration.
- Valid Well Control and Drilling Technology certificates, and other Safety Training courses (regulatory and non regulatory).

2. DRILLER -

Basic Function:

Operate drilling and mud circulating equipment as instructed in the well program and in accordance to Transocean policies and procedures.

Prerequisites/Qualifications:

- Minimum of OND or its equivalent. Work experience, and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications will be strongly considered.
- Valid Well Control and Drilling Technology certificates, and other Safety Training courses (regulatory and non regulatory).
- Knowledge of all technical calculations required for the safe operation of the drilling unit.
- Basic computer skills.

3. DERRICKHAND

Basic Function:

- Handle tubular goods while working on the derrick.
- Assist in operating and maintaining drilling fluid pumping and mixing systems.

Prerequisites/Qualifications:

- Minimum of WASC or its equivalent.
- Derrickhand modular training, Introductory Well Control course, Safety Training courses.
- Basic computer skills required for certain rig types.

4. MECHANIC

Basic Function:

Assist in maintaining and repairing mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment onboard the rig.

Prerequisites/ Qualifications:

- Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' work experience in a drilling or allied industry or a manufacturing concern.
- Valid Industrial Mechanics Certificate and other regulatory & non-regulatory courses.
- Knowledge of technical calculations required for mechanical operations.
- Basic computer skills.

5. ELECTRICIAN

Basic Function:

Assist the Chief Electrician in the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment onboard the rig.

Prerequisites/Qualifications:

- High National Diploma (HND) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' work experience.
- Regulatory and non-regulatory courses as required.
- Knowledge of all technical calculations required for electrical operation of the
rilling unit.
- Basic computer skills.

6. MEDIC

Basic Function:

- Provide medical care and primary first aid care in emergency cases, to all personnel onboard the rig.
- Provide clerical/administrative support as required.

Prerequisites /Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years' post qualification experience as a medical doctor (MBBS). - Knowledge of local safety related legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory and non-regulatory QHSE training courses as applicable.
- Basic computer skills.
